Sur-Bye- Val >>> - Poem by Manonton Dalan

I always thought
that birds go away
on every winter day
leaving their nest
bare naked and empty
I was wrong they stay

they build a house
beneath trees borough
in cliffs, in ground
in houses, crawl spaces
they brave winter nights
pass quietly; not a flap
