Enough to flood my heart with a tender bliss,
Sweeter than sugar is your enticing smile,
Enough to show me that this love is worthwhile,

Sweeter than sugar are the sweet things you do,
Your kindness and care that makes our love so true,
Sweeter than sugar is the taste of our love,
For you are my the greatest gift from god above,

Sweeter than sugar are the loving ways you show,
Each day and night so our burning love can grow,
Sweeter than sugar, that is the nature in your heart,
You have showed me beauty and that love is an art,

Sweeter than sugar are the cherished memories of you,
Each beautiful moment spent under the sky so blue,
Sweeter than sugar, that is how you have made my life,
And that is why i am asking you to be my wife.
