Symbols to worship,
Theft, deception and greed.
With it claimed them to represent,
A faith kept to keep...
In the uplifting of beliefs,
Of the instructions of God.
Relayed to Jesus Christ.
And disciples of written scriptures.
In an assortment of Bibles.
From which followers of different religions,
Quote and refer to when praying on knees.
Yet...
The quality of humanity,
Divided into sectors of bigotry...
Racism,
And displays of hypocrisy.
Seems today more to thrive,
On corruption, lies and alibis.
Denied.
Although witnessed are the intended evils.
Leaving few places,
Inside or outside...
Where these symbolic images,
Are idolized and built...
Near and around to see with opened eyes.
Deceivers attempting,
To hide the telling to themselves...
A multitude of told lies.
