Taste Of Expression - Poem by Brandon Griffee

Liberation from temptation,
And a bayoneted mind,
Abstract thoughts of beauty,
In my head and enshrined.
Secret divine ambitions,
Overflowing onto page,
To be heard by many,
In this world of violent rage.
Eating forever away,
At my fabric of esteem,
Finding comfort in this pen,
Releasing a flowing stream.
The dam has now been razed,
With an endless source of ink,
Poetic paper drowns the room,
Forcing me to the brink.
