Tattoo Poem by Angelique' Rockwell

Tattoo

a tat shouldn't be taken lightly
a special drawing, words, or a name
it's a scribble on your body that will never go away
you see it on yourself every single day
during our nine months, which felt about ten years
you tatted me on you to relieve my fears
shortly after we were done
i gave up and the hoes won
but on the arm or under the shirt
seeing a new one today almost, a lil bit, hurt
mine a tasteful work of art
new one faded and looked like a big crooked heart
though its not my place to say a word
mine still looks awesome, the new one looks absurd!
just sayin; -)
