Teenagers - Poem by Erin Marsh

The life of a teenager is confusing
You think you understand the world
But then it goes and changes

You try to fulfil your dreams
You think it’s easy
Then it goes and changes

You think you will cruise through school
You will be able to deal with the pressure
Then it goes and changes

You think you’ve made a friend
That will keep all your secrets
Then it goes and changes

Forget all your problems
One day it
Will go and change
