It was by chance I saw your face,
It took me by complete surprise,
One fleeting glance made my heart race,
I felt my heart beat deep inside,
And from that moment my life changed,
Never would I be the same,
But all good things are doomed to last,
Memories return, again and again.
Your precious smile,
The way you walked,
Your hand in mine,
Those words you spoke,
For all those things,
Are precious now,
Never forgotten,
It's hard to somehow.
