The Advent
A-nticipate the advent of Christ
N-ever will it come in distant time;
D-o prepare every day,
R-emain firm at any clime.
E-xpect the arrival of the Savior,
S-cripture says the date is unknown;
I-n terms of the hour it's secret,
T-he one who knows is God
A-lone.
D-ivine God from the sky
I-s giving us His commandment;
A-ugust thirteenth Sunday,
Z-ealously await the advent.
