Unspoken words of affection
are a breeding ground
of emotional turmoil--
a pathway to disconnection.
Let your words be a gentle rain
that awakens the soul.
A single whisper of love,
tenderly shared,
will dismantle
a lifetime's wall of hate.
One word of love is all it takes
to find the rhythm of us.
