the beautiful day of never
clouded my dream
in waves of music
continents of seem
and particoloured, paused
above the playlike walls
and curtsied to
the fictional king and queen.
in berry clambering fields
we watched it set
till the stars faded into the blue
of new regrets
but still we were glad
for all that we had
envisioning it so
in the spring flowering snow
in a world that had never known death.

" in the spring flowering snow /in a world that had never known death." Beautifully crafted. Loved the expression…
