The Bipolar Poem by Indira Renganathan

The Bipolar

Rating: 5.0

Chopping potatos they were talking
On potato recipes many
More dicing and dissecting matters many
Ah, a sudden lightning mood poked in hyper

One got in a strange stormy mood swing
Started hitting the other with hurting words
The other got panic and felt a bad swing
Unknowing to flee away from that heated moment

Someday and some day again and again
From that day onwards mood swings..
On all matters of cabbage to garbage
Senseless fights, meaningless screams

Tides low, tides high.. depression.. depression
Unpredictable burst uncontrollable chaos
Leaving the others with unsolvable confusion
What could it be...a mental disorder bipolar

An old nursery rhyme sings of a little girl
As ' When she was good she was very very good
But when she was bad she was horrid'.. This swirl
Of situation too is horrid otherwise other times too good
