The Clock And Time Poem by Indira Renganathan

The Clock And Time

Rating: 5.0

As you strike every half past an hour
You hit the time showing your power

But time's greater more ignoring you
Moving on further and further

You strike and strike and end someday
Dead to be kept as an antique

Deathless, nameless, endless
Time's moving on further and further

Very discerning lines on time. Yes, time has its own course.

As the clock ticks the time away, it brings everything finally to an end. Even the clock life span expires and it becomes antique. Beautiful poem
