The Cold Truth Poem by Laquory Jones

Verse 1
I guess it's time that I came out and be honest
I've been struggling against the currents
Water as I charter myself over open
Waters I'm drowning but I don't think anyone
Is bound to save me no life vest
As I light that blinking light
Infrared on the S.O.S
But there's still no one in sight
It's my emotions beginning to take flight

Verse 2
Caution hot packages coming in
Hot box obstacles beginning the unraveling
Of Life as the we speak what talents do
I even seek if I don't know what makes me
Unique many times I've tasted defeat
I've been beaten and defeated
Feeling constantly heated
Feeling like a masterpiece incomplete
When friends are needed they tend to
Be obsoleted feeling far from completed

Verse 3
Societies are being fed lies as they consume it
America's dying I think it's time to exhume it
I understand that you're in a state of confusion
Richie you have quite a few screws loosened
Half the world watching fake news in unison
And the other half watches for the amusement
But nothing is funny about the abusement
That we continue to face
But times are bound to change
I admit the feelings kind of strange

Verse 4
But we'll continue the evolvement
A million problems but no one has the
Heart to solve them we're in need of
Solutions and solvents
I would like your involvement so we can
Evolve together, So whose with me?
I'm asking in urgency it's an emergency
Dealing with our mortality so tell me
How would you cement your legacy
