The Comfort Of His Caress Poem by Amanda Lukas

The Comfort Of His Caress

Rating: 5.0

I look into deep brown eyes.
Suddenly, my knees are shaky and weak.
I melt with the sight of a heavenly smile.
It's hard for me to speak.
I watch plump, pink lips move in speech
But I cannot make out what they say.
I'm in awe,
Wonderous of how such a beautiful being
Could love plain, pitiful me.
How could I have been the one
To attract the attention of perfection?
I feel the warmth of his body holding me
I sigh, comfortable and content.
I haven't a care, a worry, a regret.
Only the comfort of his caress.
This is the moment
I wish would last forever.

A lovely moment captured. The moments love provides are always a splendour to read, just like this poem.
