The Creation - Poem by Lynzi Berner
Mirror, mirror on the wall
whos the fairest of them all?
you have no answer for me
Then let us create him together
Give him an always learning mind
so that we may talk late into the night
Give him the deepest eyes
so that I may lose myself in his gaze
Give him the sweetest lips
so that my name will be greater
just for passing through them.
Make him love me, you ask?
no mirror, he needs not love me
the simple thought
that one day I may look on him
oh and give him love
a love so great
that he will see his beauty
mirrored in the eyes of his love
