The Cup's Coming Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Cup's Coming

Rating: 5.0

God's tears of joy
Falling on pavement
Creating puddle
Colder temperature
Frozen memory
Of child's ice rink
Children skating
Playing hockey
Santa's coming
To Toronto
Stanley Cup now
'round the corner
Children playing
Children laughing
Adults howling
The Cup's coming
Start parading

This is terrific, Richard. I once said the Cup will only come when the Leafs manage to square off against the Canucks in the final. But you may be right. This is brilliant, Richard.
