The Damage Is Done (In Senryu Form) Poem by Francesca Johnson

The Damage Is Done (In Senryu Form)

Rating: 5.0

The damage is done
I am here with heavy heart
I will stay apart.

No respect for me
Nor for lives of other folk
Trust you want to choke!

Equlibrium
Out of balance for me now
I have made a vow,

To never welcome
You to my happy living.
Me? No more giving.

All you do is take
And wreck and ruin all around
Your niche you have found.

I hope that you’ll see
The error of your wicked ways
And hopefully your days

Will end on something
Worthwhile and good. Though I doubt
You will turn about.

Morning smile is gone
Now my tears are flowing free
You have damaged me…….

Fran, you said my Sleeping Champion was sad, this just as sad if not sadder. If ever need someone to talk to you know I'm here for you my friend. Take care now. Hugs David

The sound of a breaking heart echoes throughout this powerful poem Fran, the controlled form adds to the emotional impact of this piece, each stanza tightly packed with the hurt and pain of a love that is no more. Written by one with a true heart and soul. Justine xx

I know you are hurting sweetheart and boy, does it come out, together with your strength (which knows no bounds) in this heartbreaking and powerful piece. However. You may feel damaged but you are not. You're one of the most beautiful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and I love ya. t x
