Last night
I was deep asleep,
Suddenly a dead soldier sprang
In front of me,
I was very surprised,
I stared at him for a while,
Then the soldier gently asked me,
'Are you alive? '
I confidently answered,
'Of course,
I am very much alive, '
Soon the dead warrior laughed at me and said,
'You are wrong,
See yourself minutely,
You are absolutely dead,
As your inner self is dead, '
We are alive only if our conscience is alive. Great write, friend.
Very enlightening piece! Death is not physical but if a person is spiritually dead, that's the real death.
