The weary soldier was deep asleep,
Suddenly the dead soldier
Sprang in front of him,
The tired soldier became terribly afraid of him,
Then.......
The dead soldier whispered to him,
'I am your dead enemy,
Don't be afraid of me.'
Scary, but true such things are very common, even when there are no enemies such thoughts appear and reappear. Excellent poem.
Sometimes when we are dead tired we are visited with dreams that were part of our past. An interesting poem well expressed.
