The Deep Reach Of Words Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Deep Reach Of Words

Rating: 5.0

How deep of words, the reach,
High responsibility of each,
Do not use words in vain,
To profit from or cause deep pain.

Beware of false, fast moving tongues,
That play and lie for profits sung,
They are but foxes sly,
Our words were meant to teach and pray,
To guide and pave Life's better way.

I like so many of your poems but this one is standing there before me in simple elegance of an angel's robe and giving us a truth to remind us of who we are- - -or who we were meant to be. Absolutely well-written, smooth, smoothh like streams flowing over river-smooth pebbles. 10+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ and a place on my fav list.

How very true, with the power of our words comes responsibility to use them not for personal profit but to trash, pray and pave a better way, wonderful poem Sandra! ! !
