The Deepest Hurt Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Deepest Hurt

Rating: 5.0

No,
The letter did not come,
Nor will it ever,
For I now, know
That you are gone,
And it's forever
No matter what I do,
Where I go
The air breathes,
Never,
A love's that's gone,
A dying swan,
Death is forever.

A wonderful poem that shows the stark reality when a lover will never return. Thank you Sandra so much for your comments on my poems. I appreciate them very much.

I trace a different tone in this poem that is normally not found in your other works! Only a poem can address different facets of life viz, feelings, emotions, joys, happiness, despair and what not! Well penned...........10
