The Door 2 Poem by Akham Nilabirdhwaja Singh

The Door 2

Rating: 5.0

When you knocked at my door
I did not open it.
You knocked again and again for long yet
When slowly I opened the door
You had gone.
I looked hither and yon for you
And opening my door
Waswaiting for you.

After long you may come again
And knock at my door.
But shall I open the door
When you knock,
This cannot be told.

After long you may come again And knock at my door. But shall I open the door When you knock, When shall I open it These cannot be told......here is the essence of the poem. Emotional, intensive and complex thoughts are with full of care. A beautiful poem so nicely executed. Thanks for sharing.10

Poem expresses the complexity of emotions when one is not sure whether he is in love or not. When he feels that it is love, , it may be too late as by that time love is gone. And the lover waits for the love to come back. A beautiful poem, thanks for sharing.
