Repeats In Life
Recently in a winter evening
on a leisure drive along a national highway
with my wife I remembered
my journeys
day and night to Guwahaty long ago
for office works
sometimes with my wife
passing that highway
(I retired a decade ago) .
We decided then
once to undertake
an overnight journey to Guwahaty
boarding a nightsuper
when covid-19 pandemic is over
to recreate those past journeys.
Back home after three hours of driving
our little grandson was waiting
for us to play together with me.
I remembered then,
as the days, months and years gone
there is no true repeat in life.

In the drama that is life, there is only a single show, just one stage, No repeat shows. And love is the most important ingredient that makes it worthwhile for the audience. all the FIVE, Sir.
There can be undefined pleasure playing with grand children where one can recollect the memory of that sinless childhood while playing with kids. A person enjoys playing when he is kid again he enjoys playing with kids at the old age. An endearing poem!
