The Embrace Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Embrace

Rating: 5.0

Yr absence is nothing
But a painful reminder of my broken heart
When I reach out to embrace you, I find no one
To run my fingers through yr hair
Feeling the softness is what I crave
And it's a daily moment of weakness
My tears take advantage of
As I am left without that cuddle
We once enjoyed

We feel the longing for and the absence's pain! So very hard to transmit! But you have done it deeply and so sincerely. Bravo, to a great lyrical poem!
