The Eternal Hunt Poem by Ayman Parray

The Eternal Hunt

The signs of the seers have long foretold,
Unchained their beastly nature none to hold,
The beasts among men shall ravage the earth,
When of heroes on these lands there is a dearth
It is known world over wolves love the moon,
Howling at silver beams the nightly hunt a boon
But there are worse beasts among me and you,
These beasts rob their brethren and kill them too
Such wolves have no love for anything or anyone,
They eat women, children, the elderly and spare none
Those who live a worthy life enter gardens of delight,
Those with a taste for human flesh live in endless fright
The God of the hunt awaits his wolves in the dark night,
Hunting grounds filled with predators for the eternal fight
