The Knight's Tale Poem by Ayman Parray

The Knight's Tale

In battle death or glory awaits,
I am the vanguard at the gates,
The keeper of the peace,
The defender of the faith,
The silent guardian of your walls
Through my strength enemies fall,
My armor a symbol of honor,
My coat of arms, sanctuary to all,
Valor and chivalry my true call
No deed too mighty,
No feat too small,
Swords, shields, lances, I use all
My steed I ride, turning the war's tide,
And change for the better, fates of all

I am so glad to see you writing and posting. You have a feel for this genre of poetry (Knights and Vikings etc.) I think you would have made an excellent knight. Peace my friend
