The Feast - Poem by Lynzi Berner

Hold on tight

Don't close your eyes

I expect
we'll be
arriving soon

The shadows
gather to greet us

See their
toothless smiles

The monsters
whisper
and point

The demons
laugh
and snarl

Fresh
meat

Broken hearts
always taste
the best
