The Fires Have Been Lit Poem by Ace Of Black Hearts

The Fires Have Been Lit

Rating: 5.0

If you think I'm dead inside.
Your in for rude surprise.
I'll give you a sudden explosion.
I'll be the brief the pitch black thunder storm in a hot humid summer sunny day.
Leaving a path of utter destruction in my wake.
So just get in my way, please, oh pretty please do.
Not the push over you thought.
But then again did you ever really know me.
Throwing cash my way like I can be bought.
Take your money, I'm not a possession.
And still you don't have clue what you all put me through.
Anger builds, I keep telling myself chill.
There will be a time and place.
But I can't wait, I just can no longer take it.
Verbally abusive, trying to make me solely dependent on you.
Using every tool at your disposal as a weapon.
You struck the match, lit the fuse and clenched you hand over it.
What did you expect would happen? ? ?
You can live without a limb I suspect, but it will be painful.
But still not the most intelligent move.
Burning your life down.
This is not revenge, for that I would need to dig two graves.
I have no intention of being a casualty of selfish, malignant, narcissistic tendencies.
You want it to be only about you, no matter who it hurts.
No matter who you have to manipulate.
Even your very own child.
I will not give you the satisfaction of the attention you desire.
I will get your entire family to completely ignore you.
You kid will be taken for a just cause.
Neglect, I know how you operate from the inside out.
And I'll only ever have to do it once to throw you off the deep end.
Mentally broken.
Calling the men with white coats to permanently lock you up in a rubber room where you can do no more harm to yourself or others.
So let me ask you is this what you desire?
Because if you let me go I can put out all these burning fires.
Otherwise I see no other recourse.
Because your a crazy stalker who has cost more then one job.
More then one relationship.
Can you admit to yourself that I will never love or fall in love with you.
If you can back off, then we can both walk away unharmed as if it never happen at all.
