The First Time Poem by Vashita Moondra

The First Time

Rating: 5.0

She lay there in anticipation
Hoping he wouldn't hurt her
But just as he made the first cut
She let out a scream
Shivering in pain
There was blood spurting out
And then she struggled
Minutes passed by excruciatingly slow
And then she was done
There was calm
Finally the knife fell from his shaking hand
And he held his little baby
To his heart
For the first time
A doctor's job is surely tough
