The Flags Of My Heart Poem by Hebert Logerie

The Flags Of My Heart

The flags of my heart
Float for freedom, equality,
Fraternity, unity, and dignity.
My flags float for happiness
Of all living beings on this Earth.
My flags float for respect
Human rights and peace.
Hypocritish brothers, tell me about yours.
You who act as false apostles,
I'm listening to you. Tell me about your flags.
You who plunder public treasury, safes and piggy banks.
Today, you may be without words,
After strangling so many people and causing so many evils.
A priori, I do not care about the color of your skin,
The visual or cosmetic beauty of your flags.
I want to know if your flags float for freedom.
Equality, fraternity, unity, and dignity
Of all human beings on Earth.
