The flowing stream sings on a steady tune
As it gently meanders through the meadow
Destined to meet the distant river soon,
After which it will remain just a shadow.
A poet's pensive mind flows along with her
Up to as far a distance as time permits,
Both singing for a while together
At some point they quietly call it quits.
