Forms a soothing carpet in
our lawns,
a beautiful scene.
It is the grass,
a herb superb,
small, slender
and green.
A breeze blowing,
lying on this verdant mat
gives utmost bliss.
Absorbs and radiates
sun's heat, converts
carbon dioxide to
carbohydrate, a food stuff
for the tummies,
generates enough oxygen for
physical and mental peace.
Bends its head
when there is flood,
and remains unhurt.
The ravaging water current
uproots the tall trees,
sweeps them away
as they remain adamant.
A king tide in the sea
causes accident and health
hazards for a person
who does not tilt.
The tide passes smoothly,
strikes its head in the
shore, comes back,
touches your feet
if you bow a bit.
No man is fully perfect
and pure in this universe;
rigidity in judging people
would make you lonely
in the long run.
One becomes successful
only when silence, smile,
pliability are in
amalgamation.
