The Great Hickory Dickory Dock Disaster

Poem by Robert Black

A tock ticks, slips, and tumbles out of control
Crashing through chains of trained thoughts
Which jangle and fall like glass dominoes
Onto cobwebbed floors of anchored reactions,
Emotional decisions decided long ago.
