The greatest of mysteries
is the world we may have known
every chance never taken
each question unasked
the roll of a dice, turn of a card
the what ifs and could have been
a turn left instead of right
a journey never taken
a thought no longer kept silent
a truth or lie revealed
the question of fate and fortune
a mystery to all eternity
for who are we to know
what is, and what is not to be
