The Last Leaf Has Fallen

Rating: 5.0

J-anuary twenty-fourth sun
H-as begun to ascend;
A-n early morn starts to break,
N-ight chill and raindrops
E-nd.

M-onday mist and fog
E-vade the warm beacon;
L-et the Tuesday light
C-ome rising above the horizon.
H-aze has just vanished,
O-ne new dawn has broken;
R-ise above the crowd, the last leaf has fallen.
