The Life I Miss Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

The Life I Miss

Rating: 5.0

Those precious days when once we played,
For freedom filled our lives back then,
Where dreams were dreamt of everyday,
Along the pleasant mountain glen.
For growing old so far away,
Amidst our thoughts were childhood things,
Of ice cream topped with sweetest tastes,
I long to go back to those days.
The laughter fills my thoughts right now,
For then our lives were filled with joy,
Forever in my heart and soul,
That life i miss,
I need it now.
