The Lighthouse Poem by Argentine Tango

The Lighthouse

Rating: 3.3

Foggy is the view
The scrutinizing lighthouse
Fails to find the crew

Sound the warning bell
Jagged rocks surface from the
Blue fires of Hell

The ship will be claimed
By men or sea, fate knows not
Hope flees, prayer remains

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
It started out as a simple haiku, then I got carried away and it turned into a series of three with a more developed story.
