The Lips Danced Poem by Akhtar Jawad

The Lips Danced

Rating: 5.0

Feeling inferior in a gathering,
everyone has something that I do not have,
I cried within me.
Then a thought came in my mind,
I took out my smart phone,
I typed a poem,
and shared it on a website.
Immediately I noticed someone read it,
liked it and wrote a comment,
"A nice poem, I am here in this gathering,
and I have been watching you sitting lonely,
I am coming at your table."
I didn't smile within me,
the lips danced with a smile.

Poets get attention everywhere. Nothing to worry about loneliness. Nice poem. A sweet experience indeed.
