I was into the first 2 stanzas but wished the poem had traveled down a different path in its conclusion. There was such a dust-bowl hobo feel to the poem for me... til the end.

Nice poem on loneliness and getting a company. Thanks for sharing. The lonely road no longer I roam. We met, and were one in the heart's desire. Together we came, through the wintry gloam, To the little old house by the cross-ways, home; And crossed the threshold, and kindled the fire. .. is really nice. Congrats.

Thanks and congratulation to his soul for being selected this poem as the poem of the day.
