Hiding behind a mask and mirror,
but now I see his face clearer.
My maestro that played inside my dreams
is now helping my frightful stage screams.
He played apart in this phantom game,
by only telling his made up name.
His power is driven by the violin music,
and my singing voice strong and thick.
His hands guide the bow across the strings,
and with the first note I start to sing.
While my eyes are closed my maestro steps from the shadows.
And with the last note, I feel a strong energy flow.
No longer will my fear be filled.
Now my maestro must be revealed.
My heart pounds my chest,
wondering if his face will be grotesque.
Off comes the mask, and his eyes are locked me.
Now I have my twin flame after an eternity.
The Phantom by an unknown name,
plays with your mind like a game.
But my phantom with a broken voice,
came to me without a choice.
Together we have conquered fear,
and now it's time to celebrate with a cheer.

I would like to translate this poem
as you are limited on time, i am also. i plan to get back to this one another day with comments/suggestions. it is a good effort and i've only read it once. not bad at all. one or two small corrections you might find with one more proofreading. nice rhyming. i almost always use rhyming couplets in my poems, but i do appreciate un-rhymed and 'here-and-there-rhymed' poems if they are good otherwise. it may take a while for me to get back to ya. yes, i figured some influence of Phantom of the Opera. He was so handsome! bri :) on to next 'new' poem. i esp. enjoyed mirror/clearer.
