The Masked Ones That Are Found - Poem by Jennie Renee Sparrow
Where are the eyes behind the mask,
When souls yearn to be free,
Freedom returned from its own past,
Lost beneath those who cannot be.
See those that pretend to live,
Left among the ones that hide,
Sought by something that cannot give,
Looking for its own hidden pride.
