the mistakes of the past
continually catch up to me
my hubby is convinced
my legs spread like a tree

when will i live it down?
when will there be trust?
i will always wonder...
what's wrong with a little lust?

i've been entirely faithful
for 11 whole years
through all of the fights
and all of the tears

one day he'll appreciate
all the hell for me he caused
for 3 kids later i'm still here
and i never once paused.
