The Moon Who Are You? Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

The Moon Who Are You?

Rating: 5.0

Along the Roadless sky
Across the strange clouds
Around the universe
Wander you a widow moon

Written poems of outer face
Soft light inside pain
Not known tears by sleepers
Wander you a mother moon

Caught in to the bad luck of Saturn
Displaced without a shelter
Looking for the fate love
Wander you a bachelor moon

Everything abandoned leaving home
Freedom for unsatisfied life
In the motion world, goodness for others
Wander you a saint Moon

Unrevealed secrets beneath the earth
Bonding to a contract for a reword
Wearing a suit of fake face
Wander you a spy moon

I really love how you had taken the symbol of the moon and then represented it in various ways to fulfill your poetic duties.. A beautiful poem Udaya. Thanks for sharing.
