The Mounting Snows Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Mounting Snows

Rating: 5.0

Is it worth the trouble
Of analyzing it all?
Looking for answers
In Life's inscrutable hall
The more we know,
The more there is to know
As Uncertainty,
Piles as mountains,
Of freshly fallen snow.

Yes, it is worthwhile and my heart understands that everything matters, uncertainty is a wonderful gift, though it can be torturous in some circumstances, I pity those that just think that the only purpose in life is to breathe one breath to another then die.....life itself is witness that something more is involved..the order involved in everything from atom to thinking ability is a voice to be listened to, I like your poem of question.

A wonderful poem Sandra. We need to think about when we should stop seeking answers. Personally, I am open to questioning everything. I do this through my poetry. I am very pleased with how my mind has satsfied itself with philosophical questioning.++++10 Robert

In the long run, no, nothing really matters. But I do so enjoy learning about the reality in which I exist.
