The New Shadow
Last night......
I saw him
In my vision,
He was whispering,
'Do you know me?
I am the new shadow of this realm, '
Being excited,
When I tried to embrace him,
The new shadow disappeared soon
And the old shadow appeared
With its mundane stature,
I screamed in extreme pain and agony,
But in vain.

Sometimes there are things that will come in our life that could put dark clouds in our vision and lead us to confusion..A very thought provoking poem nicely presented.

Gotta love the continual build-up of mystery and suspense! The conflict between the old shadow and the new shadow so eloquently expresses the good and bad within our nature. Ultimately, Good always triumphs!
