This was so powerful in it's draw on the emotions Andrew, and you are so right about that feeling of something so special kept in the album of history Could you mail me and tell me where this was please, , Love duncan X
This is well written also. Thank you. Still have many to read!
I enjoyed reading this poem Andrew! Reminded me that my old grade school was converted to a pharmacy and small business offices at least it didn't get torn down and still stands! Thanks for sharing! Thad *10*! ! !
This poem is about my first school, Redhouse infants, that I attended from 1971-74. It was demolished in about 1995 and the hand sold off for a housing development. They built a wooden fence around the new estate but for some reason, they left the old school gate standing within the fence. With the demolition of the school, it felt like a part of my life had been taken away. I do hope you enjoy reading this poem. Andrew
