Knock knock she knocked the door
And heard a swishing sound on the floor
She tried to guess who might be there
And her heart was gripped by a hidden fear
Knock knock she again knocked the door
A mouse ran out the gap between floor and door
now the knocking sound of the fear of death hears in the air though sound is slight
