The Picture - Poem by Adryan Barnathan

She sits, surrounded
by the ones who
mean the most.
Each person reaching
to connect with her
selfless current
while her right hand
touches the lap
of her husband
her left hand
envelopes the wrist
of her son's wife to be.
She is aglow with love.
The centre of their world.
Look, how they adore her.
