THE POETIC SKY

As our world gently rotates, the complexion
of the blue sky begins to change,
As clouds ceaselessly form and unite, only to
dissipate!
The sunset sky blushes, and even dissolves
as refreshing rain!
But with the birth of each new day,
The sky always presents a clean blue slate!
For the poet to etch out his thoughts and
lines,
While the timeless blue sky forever displays,
it's cerulean blue state!

Like the changing sky the poet's thoughts and
words also rearrange;
In our evanescent life of continued flux, flow,
and change!
The crimson rays of the setting sun enters the
poet's veins,
And flows down to his heart and there to remain!
His heart is sensitive and he feels other's hurt,
Those flowers at dawn knowingly nods, and even
speak to his trusting heart!
The poet begins to write with the glow of starlight
showers, -
And those borrowed colours from the myriad
shades of flowers!
And he is blessed by the sky which yields and
melts in sympathy;
Flowing through his pen in limpid blue
transparency!
While he sincerely hopes that this boundless
and boarderless sky,
Which envelopes our entire humanity in a spirit
of sympathy,
Shall remain there forever as the all-embracing
Sky of Poetry!

I like the premise for this poem. Interestingly enough, I wrote a poem myself today using the image of the sky as a canvas on which to paint. It's certainly an inspiring sight.

In literal sense too Nature has always inspired poets, the different shapes, seasons, colours all have conspired in favour of poetry…they have touched the sensitive nerve of the poet and lo! the poetry was born… Lines here justify the emotions of the poet and the origin of poetry ABha
