The Promise Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Promise

Rating: 5.0

No other Love have I,
That will satisfy,
This lonely feeling,
Or send my heart reeling,
Into the sky.

No, I don't have wings,
But when heaven sings,
And I feel your eyes,
The very thought of you,
Births Spring in my heart,
And I'm satisfied.

The world then turns radiant and gay,
And I will love you more tomorrow,
Than I do today.
I promise,
Come what may.

No, I don't have wings, But when heaven sings, And I feel your eyes, ....Suzan I like your poems... they have a lot of lyricism and imagination. Congratulations!

'No, I don't have wings, But when heaven sings, And I feel your eyes, The very thought of you, Births Spring in my heart, ' - Your poems are like multi-colored flowers in a beautiful garden, beside which I take an every day walk, a must, sometimes with pause to marvel at those, sometimes just to see the beauty and pass by! Stay well, my Friend. Peace!
